Phew, page up. I can stop feeling guilty for one more week now XD
I referenced Alma's pose from a Claire Marie magazine lying around my house. And because I realized that I haven't credited it at all here, all the screentones I use come from psychobob.
I think I feel a flashback coming on! (OMFG NEXT PAGE SPOILER D8)
Have a five-second history lesson for those of you who want nothing to do with the French (or history): Maximilien Robespierre was a politician instrumental in bringing about the Reign of Terror during the French Revolution. Plenty of heads got chopped during this time (including Morte's, I suppose), and eventually it all came to a very bad end for Robespierre, who died under the guillotine himself. Karma, my comrades, karma!
He amuses me for no real reason. I think it might be due to the French Revolution documentary the History Channel made a few years back.

Woah!God: Indeed! I'm a history geek, so Morte's rather lengthy existence is the perfect opportunity for random tie-ins. And his past will (very slowly) be revealed in this and later chapters :)

I really Like Morte's ashamed face while being scolded by the ever adorable Lewis. Those two have such an adoable friend thing going on, I can't stand it. :>
LOL, Robespierre. Poor Morte. Must not have been a fun experience. Although I do wonder how he acted dead, and got his head back on. I would think he would have a scar, but maybe death has awesome head re-attaching powers? x3

ohmygod Robespierre reference MADE MY FREAKING DAY.
I will tell you now that this comic makes my day every time it's updated, actually because Morte and Lewis are ADORABLE and your lines especially hatch-shading are SO GOOD + EXPRESSIONS A+++ this is incoherent, I apologize. But seriously. love it. Alma's evil aura is excellent.
